Dr. BASIL ONUGU – MD/CEO, a Banker by Training and Experience, is a certified Affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation (RAC) of Pennsylvania, USA. He is an accomplished, versatile and dynamic executive with outstanding management, interpersonal, communications and analytical skills. An astute Management Consultant and Development Specialist, Dr. Onugu focuses on human capacity building, for Leadership Excellence, Good and Effective Governance and Credit Operations Skills, Process Design and Optimization, Financial Engineering, Capital Restructuring, Strategy Development and Effective Execution. He is a strong, participative leader and a result-oriented manager with solid record of accomplishments in academics, imparting knowledge, business restructuring, new business development, customer retention and effective team building.

Dr.Basil Onugu is a member of many professional bodies including: Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants, Fellow of Institute of Credit Administration and Member of the Professional Practice Group (PPG) of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (LCCI). He is also a co-author of “The Craft of Credit Creation”, a book that is widely used by Banks and Finance Houses. Also a part-time lecturer at Lagos Business School and ESUT Business School, Dr. Onugu is also a director of many companies including one NGO which focuses on Poverty Alleviation and Women empowerment.

Dr. Onugu has a First Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka; a M.Sc. Degree (Finance & Accounting) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), Cambridge, USA and Ph.D. (Management) from ST. Clement’s University, U.K.

 

 Dr. GAB I. IKONTA – Executive Director is a seasoned specialist in Vocational Psychology with over 25 years of experience in assisting clients in the public and private sectors in project design and management and in translating development and business innovation into reality. His qualifications and exposure combine a rare mix of high-level managerial experience in Academia, Banking, Human Capital Development, Government and International Agencies.

Specifically, Dr.  Ikonta was an academic staff of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, from 1976 to 1991.  He ventured into Banking in 1991 where he majored in Human Capital, Branch Development, General Administration, Premises Management, Capacity Building and Strategic Planning.

In 2006, he teamed up with his professional friend to set up The Leadership Paradigm Consultants Limited, a company that is affiliated with the Resource Associates Corporation (RAC) of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

Over the years, Dr. Ikonta has attended numerous conferences, workshops and seminars.  Equally, he has run Courses, Workshops and Seminars for various Nigerian top-flight organizations including The European Union (EU)/WSSSRP, The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Nigeria Press Council, May and Baker, Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, Intercontinental Bank, Wema Bank, Fidelity Bank, Royal Exchange Assurance, LAPO Group, Cummins West Africa, The Catholic Bishops of Nigeria, Zenith Bank Plc, Anambra State Government, and many more.

 

Mrs. ADETOKUNBO OMITOKUN – Gen. Manager; Mrs. Tokunmbo Omitokun holds a B.A. Hons. From Lagos State University and MBA from University of Lagos. She is a member of NIM and NIMN among others. Former Head of Training Eko Hotels Lagos, Econet Wireless Communications (Now Air Tell Communications). She has over 16 years experience from the Hospitality and Telecommunications Industries in the areas of Personnel Management. She is certified by ITF for the Train-The-Trainer Programme.

 

Mr. BENJAMIN MADU is a chartered accountant and an Akintola Williams award winning accounting graduare with good accounting and financial control expirience and a unique mix of skills spanning over 18 years. He started his career in audit and management consulting working with the firm of Uba Umeevuruo anc Co., Chartered Accountnats and later worked for several multinationals in he Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) where he rose to the level of Deputy General Manager berfor joining H. Pierson Associates as a Senior Consultant.

He has attended several on-shore and off-shore certification and interm courses that include Retail Banking School, Relationship Management School, Credit Analysis, Quality System Management, Process Review and Re-Engineering, High Performance People’s Skills for Leaders, Project Management, Change Management, Financial advisory and business strategy amongst others. Some of the institutions that trained him include Lagos Business School, International Institute of Research (IIR) Dubai, American Academy of Financial Managers (AAFM), Geometric Progressions South Africa and Lodon Business School.

At H. Pierson, Mr. Madu headed several strategic business units that included Business Support Group (Financial Control, Admin., Conferencing and HR) and Financial and Business Advisory Group. While heading the Financial Advisory Group, he supervised the meger of several banks during the consolidation exercise and led several due diligence and valuation assignments for clien banks. Mr. Madu also led th eteam of h. Pierson staff that participated in the Vission 2020 Financial Sector Strategy and delivered the Blue Print for the SME Sector. He also was a leader of the team that took the Cross River State and its local Government Council through MDG, SEEDS/LEEDS, MTSS and MTEF Strategis Planning Process and Action Plan Development for the planning period of 2009-2012. He also headed the Bisuness Advisory and Training Solutions SBU for several years where he brought in a lot of innovations including competency based training. He has facilitated training programmes in Basic Accounting, Basic Credit, Financial Statement Analysis, Intermediat Credit, Relationship Management, Customer Service, Presentation Skills, Risk Management, etc for several banks.

Mr. Madu is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Financial Management, a Certified Credit Analyst and holds an MBA in International Business Management.

Mr. EDWARD OHORE holds a B.Sc. Hons in Accounting. He also has professional qualification in ACIB and RMA. He was formerly in First City Monument Bank as Vice President, Credit & Marketing and Investment Banking Departments. Currently he is a proprietor of a School in Lagos.

He worked in Omegabank Plc as Vice President and General Manager, Savannah Bank of Nigeria Ltd. Mr. Edward also worked in Nigerian American Merchant Bank Ltd in mid eighties.

Mr. EDWARD CHUKWUKA ISIWU has an MSc (Vocational Teacher Education, Agriculture), BSc (VOCED, Agriculture) PGD (Management), and NCE (Agricultural Education). He is also a member of Institute of Credit Administration, Public Service Management (PSM) Adviser/Consultant, DFID/SPARC, Nigeria, Coalition of Civil Society Organization (CSO) Adviser/Consultant, (CONSODEP), Enugu State., Proposal Writing and Project Management Consultant/Adviser (NALT NUSHO), Enugu State, Member, International Association of Facilitators (IAF) – Canada, Associate Member, Nigerian Facilitators Association ,Member, Center for Management Development (CMD) Certified Trainers, Board Member, Nigerian Integrated Rural Accelerated Development Organization (NIRADO – a leading Non-Governmental Organization in rural development in Nigeria),Member, Vocational Teacher Education Association, Nigeria.

Mr. Edward has professional experience in Organized Induction Training Program  which was organized for GTBank Plc for new entrants on: Basic Credit Analysis and Management, Personal Financial Planning and Development as well as in Customer Service Excellence.

At Institute of Financial Planning he designed and facilitated in Pre and Post retirement programmes and Customer Service for Central bank of Nigeria, GTBank Plc.

He also, Facilitated in IBFP Training Programs at Fin Bank Plc, First bank Plc and Zenith Bank Plc on Personal Financial planning   during Induction Programmes.

Mr. Edward is currently the MD/CEO of Vision Tracking Consultants Limited. Lagos.
